August’s twitching fingers
Clutch my windpipe
In the thick of the dusk
In the shadows
Of the tapestries you hide behind
Ever reaching
Always feasting, never satisfied
You covet and plunder
And I was tender
And available
So I made the cut
Mediocre enough
Of a fuck on the right day
And right kind of drug
With an Araki movie
Until you got bored
‘Cause it wasn’t enough
All the booze and the drugs
And the poppers and plugs
And the filth that I did with you
You wanted more, and you got it
I was never enough
Didn’t put out enough
Or put out the right way
Too much of a cunt
Couldn’t keep my fucking mouth shut
Never enough
To hold your fucking attention
Put down your phone
When I’m sucking your cock, you bitch
You told me to shut the fuck up
But I never did get to say
I never felt so fucking lonely
As when I was lying next to you
I never felt so fucking lonely
As when I was lying next to you
You coward
Fuck
It just keeps falling right into your lap
It just keeps falling right into your lap
It’s too easy
I watched you mourn the convenience
When I almost loved you
Words and eyes, gnashing scythes
But their edge is dull and blunt
So go and tell your story
To your 69,000 friends
But I won’t sit here and be chastised
Like I’m a stupid fucking runt
Not by you
And I hope they fuck you
Like I never could
I hope you’re fucking happy
I hope you rot
One of the few technical death metal albums out there whose dizzying virtuosity is matched by its transcendental melodicism. A favourite of mine for many years, and likely for many more. Anna Pest

Death metal/deathcore hybridization done correct! All the atmospheric passages and samples feel right in place, with great sound. Instrumentation doesn't lack as well, but the vocals could've been a little less upfront. 8.5/10 liltito

I dig this album so much, definitely a keeper. Subtly and masterfully mixing death metal subgenres, backed with an over the top production. They're true professionals. Can't wait for their next release! doive
